INNOVATION MANAGEMENT ASSIGNMENT

  1. You are required to prepare a formal business report answering the following questions related to the company assigned to you. (The company assigned to you is provided below along with your Roll No.). Download the latest Annual Report of the company from its official website and answer the following questions.

  • Summarize the framework of Innovation Master PlanTM

  • Discuss orientation of the company towards Innovation

  • Explain the significance of Research and Development for the company.

  • What is Innovation and R&D policy of the company?

  • What is the percentage of R&D spending of the company for the past 5 years?

ASSIGNMENT GUIDELINES 

  1. Students must email softcopy of the assignment to innovationmgt17@gmail.com

  2. If the required information is not available then within 2 working days from the date of this assignment, student must report the same to faculty and request him to assign another company.

  3. Students should extract the information only from the latest Annual Report/Form-10k of the company available at the company’s official website. No other source such as Newspapers, Journals, Magazines and online information regarding company should be used. If in case the required information is not available in the Annual Report then students can use information available on company’s official website only.

  4. As Annual Report will be 100+ pages, it would be tiring to read the whole document. Use CTRL + F, to save time & to find specific information in the Annual Report. If you want to search Innovation in annual report, then press CTRL + F, and in the search box type Innovation. Hopefully you will find the information.

  5. Use a standard business report

  6. Report must be Word processed or Handwritten on A4 size with one inch margin on top, left, right side and two inch margin at the bottom/footer.

  7. Page numbers at the bottom/footer right of every page in the format “Page n of N” and n <= N, where ‘n’ denotes the current page and ‘N’ denotes the total number of pages

  8. Use 12 point Times New Roman script, font color as Black.

  9. Use the Harvard Referencing System.

  10. Limit the body of the report to 5000 words.

The Assignment should be submitted on or before 16th Dec’ 2017. No assignment will be accepted after 16thDec’2017
